Cancer Research Fundraising Is Critical In Order To Find A Cure

Finding a cure for cancer takes all of us coming together and working hard. It also takes money, a lot of money. Our scientists need to research and investigate new ideas and share information. We need to be able to education the public and let them know that more funding is needed. Cancer Research Fundraising is imperative in order to find a cure.

Many companies have stepped up to the plate with donations a long with people from all walks of life. You will find both cancer survivors and friends working everyday to bring an end to this threat. Cancer Research Fundraising is vital because we will all know someone at some point in our lifetime, that has been touched by this disease.

There are many ways to get involved and take action. For example, if someone in your family has been affecting by breast cancer you might want to take part in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This organization was able to get the government to devote more than $900 million each year to breast cancer research, treatment and prevention. Prior to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure work, in 1982 the government only spent $30 million. Cancer Research Fundraising, early detection and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure have heavily impacted how we view and treat breast cancer patients. This organization works tirelessly for the cure so that the late Susan G. Komen's dream of ending breast cancer will finally become a reality.

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer and all the while started thinking of ways to make to life better for other women battling the disease. SusanG. Komen lost her batle with cancer, but her sister Nancy G. Brinker has taken up the cause to help get funding for a cure. She promised her sister that she would do everything she could to bring an end to this breast cancer. Cancer Research Fundraising is critical in order to make this happen. Yet, no matter which cancer research charity you would like to fund the Susan G. Komen for the Cure is an example of how the power of many can change a landscape for the better and push us toward a cure.

There is a real need for all sorts of fund raising so we can finally get rid of this terrible disease. It has taken too many lives already. I hope they will find a cure soon.

How long does it take to do research if we go with the public option? There won't be any financial incentive for the drug companies to do anything. We can forget about any new medicine.

There are so many different types of cancer , I never know which one to give to so I just give to the American Cancer Society and hope they know who needs it most.
